Shantalla performs 4 sets at a private concert during Gerry Murray's wedding in Leuven. Once again, Simon Donnelly filled in for Joe Hennon on guitar. The band was in great form. Here are just a few reactions:

"It's the first time I heard Shantalla and I was completely transported by the music. I can't wait for ther new tour!" - James

"We were really impressed with Shantalla's performance and really want to come see you during the tour" - Dirk & Gitte

Gerry Murray, Kieran Fahy & Michael Horgan performed as part of CC Leopoldsburg's concert season preview. Helen Flaherty & Joe Hennon were unavailable for this short performance. However, Simon Donnelly proved a very capable replacement for Joe on guitar.

Shantalla's concert in Oisterwijk, Holland, on May 7th was violin player Kieran Fahy's last appearance with the band. We had a great night and many die-hard fans turned out to say farewell. See our last photo together after the gig. Kieran will be doing solo stuff and playing with the band Valerio. We wish him all the best.

While sad that Kieran is leaving, we are pleased to be able to announce that he will be replaced for the remainder of the year by the great Irish fiddle player Gerry O'Connor.

His first outing with us will be at the Blue Dew festival in Zwolle, Netherlands on 5th June. Gerry O'Connor also has a new album out entitled "Journeyman".
